Thinking Too Much

It is when we worry most that we cannot see the truth even with our own eyes.

It is summer and for some reason I get my perennial inspiration and actual drive to draw again. It's kind of exciting every year to see the progress I make and this year I'm really seeing a relaxed but new approach to my character portraits... it's not just profiles anymore but really trying to make accurate portrayals of their personalities. I'm trying to fix some of the hairstyles and outfits in the meantime; a lot of these designs were made when I was emulating manga-style without understanding basic concepts of how hair and clothing-functionality works.

Most of my recent work is geared to finally launching a new website, since the last one is now 7 years out of date. I'll still be sure to share at least one portrait of each character here :)

lol don't be scared, I can come off really grouchy, sorry I don't mean it :(

I'm glad you like them, to be honest ever since Oh! My Goddess, Kosuke Fujishima has been one of my top artistic inspirations, so I guess it makes sense if Tales characters are similar. I really need to play Symphonia ;(

well, the honest answer is I'm too busy to draw my own characters lately, graveyard shift eats my soul alive :( but I could give your characters a try, who knows when inspiration and motivation will strike, always when I least expect it anyways lol :fear:
